Design and Execution
Key objectives of this build included maximising natural light in every room, improving ventilation, and creating seamless indoor-outdoor transitions. The team at NZWindows were proud to work alongside Jennian Homes in bringing this bespoke project to fruition.
Naturally Illuminated Living
Tapping into natural light sources, the perimeter of the lounge space features both Sliding and French doors. This choice of joinery blends style and functionality to create an expansive, open living area, that floods the entire home with light. When fully opened, these doors offer a wide entrance to the garden, making it perfect for hosting gatherings or simply enjoying the outdoor space. On hot summer days, they provide excellent ventilation and airflow throughout the home.
The large glass panels of the Sliding and French doors offer clear views of the garden, strengthening the connection between the indoor and outdoor spaces. The homeowners opted for Green Tint Solux Glass, successfully ticking the insulation box, filtering harmful UV rays to prevent sun damage, while also adding to aesthetic appeal.
Living Designed to Entertain
A highlight of the new kitchen is the sliding servery window, which serves as both a splash back and a functional pass-through to the outdoor entertaining area. This naturally bright kitchen provides ambience, setting the scene for a space full of light and warmth.
The Wow-Factor
Every homecoming feels special with the addition of a Plasma powder coated aluminium entrance door in the colour Weathered Steel. This eye-catching feature allows functional access while perfectly blending in with the home’s overall style and aesthetic.
