Project Background
Overlooking Raglan’s inner harbour, Kōtare Grove is named after the native trees and birds found around the area. This stunning award-winning home was designed by Architecto NZ Ltd and built by Nixon Homes. The joinery supplied by NZWindows maximises the beautiful views and features large opening stacker doors that create seamless indoor-outdoor flow throughout the living spaces.
Design and Execution
At NZWindows, we work with systems suited to New Zealand’s environment. The windows and doors used for Kōtare Grove were selected with the goal of maximising natural light and providing protection from coastal conditions.
Living Room Corner Stacker Doors
The large corner stacker doors open wide onto the expansive decking. This design blurs the line between inside and out, creating a seamless entertaining space that’s perfect for hosting friends and family.
Raking and Highlight Windows – Kitchen & Dining
In the kitchen and dining area, the raking and highlight windows invite natural light in.
