Make your home more comfortable with double glazing
Double glazing helps keep your home warmer in winter and cooler in summer.
Double glazing is thermally broken with the outer and inner glass pane separated by an insulating space filled with air or argon gas. The insulated glass retains the indoor temperature and minimises the transfer of the cold to the inside of the house.
4mm clear glass with a 12mm air gap is our most commonly used insulated glass unit (IGU). Higher insulation performance is made achievable with the use of Low E Glass or Argon Gas.
Using double glazing can help keep the surface of the inside glass warmer and so reduces the likelihood of condensation forming on the windows.
