The team had the privilege of recently attending the 2022 Junior Rugby Festival in Taupo. While the festival is presented as a fun opportunity to play rugby, many teams treat it as a chance to test themselves against others from around the country and the U11 Shooters were one of those teams. With an undefeated season behind them, the U11 Shooters were excited to prove themselves and prove themselves they did. Battered and bruised, by much heavier players, the team stuck together, stuck to their game plan and were victorious each time and were the only undefeated team in the grade.
